Passages Youth Center has served LGBT youth in the Kansas City metro area for 24 years. Now in our 10th year at Trinity United Methodist Church, we have embarked on a space refresh. We are excited to share a sneak peek into our progress and look forward to unveiling the final outcome later this fall.
We would like to thank the exceptional supporters who are giving their time and resources to help update Passages, from our board members, to our friends who are running company bake sales. We would also like to thank the Show-Me State Rodeo for its long-term support of Passages as a beneficiary.

The mission of Passages is to equip LGBT youth to become comfortable with their identities, knowledgeable of their health status and risks, and actively involved in the Kansas City community.
Passages supports LGBT youth by:
• Partnering with community resource centers to lead discussions about coming out.
• Providing education on dating safety, healthy relationships, and HIV and STI prevention.
• Offering periodic onsite STI screening and one-on-one risk assessments.
• Providing a safe, accepting, hate-free environment for them to express themselves.
