KC Lesbian Events – These Bands Will Be Battling on Jan. 17

Each January, just about every lesbian in Kansas City over age 21 gathers for Human Rights Campaign’s Battle of the Bands. Female-fronted bands will be competing for a variety of prizes – including playing on the main stage of the Kansas City PrideFest.
This year’s Battle of the Bands will be from 2 to 7 p.m. on Jan. 17 at The Point Bar & Grill, 917 W. 44th St., Kansas City, Mo. For tickets and more information, visit hrc.org/battleofthebands.
The Kansas City PrideFest will be June 3-5 at Berkley Riverfront Park. For more information, visit gaypridekc.org.
